Oracle PL/SQL application developer
The successful candidate will take direct
responsibility for maintaining and extending an existing commercial application
written in HTML and PL/SQL. This is a comprehensive position covering customer
support, requirements analysis, code development, bug fixing, testing,
documentation, and release in a zero defects environment. Working closely with
the network administrator and the CTO the successful candidate will also serve
as a part-time DBA maintaining one Oracle database and associated
infrastructure. This is an ideal position for someone looking to extend their
skills from programming to systems analysis and architecture. Extensive experience
with HTML and PL/SQL is a must. Some experience in database administration is
required. Experience in biology, bioinformatics or working in the biotech
sector is a plus.
Post-doctoral Fellow/Cellular Immunologist
EpiVax
is seeking a postdoctoral fellow with a background in immunology/virology to
join the scientific team. The ongoing projects are focused on novel T
cell epitope-based vaccine development and modulating immune responses through
either de-immunization or augmenting regulatory T cell responses.
The
position will be a hands-on bench scientist position, where the fellow is
responsible for contributing to the design and the execution of both internal
research and corporate sponsored projects. Other responsibilities include
assisting in manuscript, grant and report preparation, overseeing laboratory
staff, which includes teaching laboratory skills/techniques, contributing to
the scientific design of other projects, attendance of scientific meetings
relevant to ongoing work and review of the current literature.
Skills
and techniques of interest include ELISpot, ELISA, flow cytometry,
proliferation and regulatory T cell assays. A strong background in
molecular biology is highly desirable. Experience working with human
cells or with in vivo mouse models is beneficial but not required.
